Logistics and Warehouse Associate

Purpose:

B&P Manufacturing is actively seeking a motivated Logistics and Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This critical role ensures the seamless operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. As an essential contributor within our high-mix, high-volume machine shop specializing in Aerospace, Defense, and Material Handling Equipment, you will support both internal and external logistics needs in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and audits.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided if necessary).
• Coordinate with the logistics team to manage shipping schedules and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist in resolving shipping or receiving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with inventory software and basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay: $15.00-$18.00, based on experience, attitude, and skill set
